Lean Years

Recorded live at the Pangea, East Village, NYC

We spent a great evening at the packed Pangea where we recorded this track: Lean Years, a Pat Martino composition.

The guitar is a 1956 Gibson Super 400. The original Alnico staple PUs were replaced with P-90s which give the guitar this beautiful, open sound.

Check out a swinging tune with a great drum and bass feature!

  •  Piano: Steve Sandberg
  •  Bass: Santi Debriano
  •  Drums: Willie Martinez

Recado Bossa Nova

This is a groovy 1960s tune, famously played by Hank Mobley - and rather a Samba than what the title suggests. Recado Bossa Nova - here's my arrangement of this great song.

An all-time classic that's especially popular with our audience!
